Blue Bay Getaway & Spa - All Inclusive(****)
 Cool, air-conditioned guestrooms feature a pale-yellow accent wall, rustic, dark-wood furniture with wrought-iron hardware, and barefoot-friendly tile and marble floors. Bathrooms contain stall showers roomy enough for two (no tubs). All rooms include balconies or patios furnished with chairs. On request, rooms can be furnished with hair dryers. Rooms are only available in the All-Inclusive Plan. Each room offers one king bed, one queen bed, or two double beds; rooms can accommodate a maximum of four guests. Superior Room - These rooms provide views of the resort's grounds or the street. Superior Ocean View Room - These rooms provide views of the multi-colored Caribbean.  Rooms include Blue Bay Getaway & Spa - All Inclusive amenities include El Embarcadero - This casual, all-day restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets in a setting of cool white walls and blue banquettes, in keeping with the resort's blue-and-white motif. Dinners feature themes such as Argentinian, Italian, and Caribbean. Bellavista - Located under a palapa next to the Quiet Pool and lit romantically at night, this restaurant serves breakfast in the morning, snacks such as burgers and nachos during the day, and ? la carte steak-house specialties for dinner. Dinner reservations required. The Village Wok - This beachside spot serves ? la carte Chinese dinners next to the beach. Reservations required. Il Piacere - A romantic, air-conditioned dinner house, Il Piacere specializes in Italian cuisine. Reservations required. Las Margaritas Grill - This casual restaurant serves Mexican buffet dinners and includes a lively bar. L'Alternative - This air-conditioned video/sports bar contains two pool tables, offers disco music for dancing, and is the site of nightly activities such as wet T-shirt and beer-drinking contests. Two of the resort's pools include swim-up bars. The open-air theater contains another bar. Room service is available for Continental breakfast only.

| What to expect: Singles and couples come here to let their hair down. Most are young and looking for a vacation filled with activity and romance. Some couples are attracted by the opportunity for nude sunbathing. A party atmosphere complete with bottle-flipping bartenders reigns, although there's ample space for tranquil sunning. Activities run day and night, beginning with poolside lounging in the morning and ending with a one-way shuttle to a Canc?n nightclub after dark. Amenity highlights: Three pools offer alternative atmospheres. The large, free-form main pool is the Activities Pool, where the resort's staff keeps things hopping to music-with-a-beat; this area offers four spas. Nearby is a square Sports Pool for volleyball, basketball, and other athletic endeavors. Away from the music and activity is a long, free-form Quiet Pool bordered by a lawn and garden; this area has three spas. A flat, deep, white-sand beach runs 300 yards in front of the resort, offering lounge chairs for sunning, thatched-roof palapas for shade, and calm water for swimming and snorkeling. Insider tip: Blue Bay Getaway's sister resort, Blue Bay Club Canc?n, is a family resort located on the mainland. As part of their All-Inclusive Plan, guests of Blue Bay Getaway are permitted to use Blue Bay Club Canc?n's facilities and dine at its restaurants. Bus and water-taxi shuttles run between the resorts. Each takes 20 minutes.
