Blue Bay Club Cancun(***)
 Each air-conditioned guestroom features rustic decor and furnishings, including a thick-tile floor, a wood-paddle ceiling fan, and two leather-and-wood chairs at a round table. A small bathroom includes a tub/shower combination, with a vanity located outside in a small dressing area. Each room contains a kitchenette with a two-burner rangetop, a sink, and a compact refrigerator. All rooms have balconies facing the street. Called Superior, the resort's standard guestrooms are offered either with an All-Inclusive Plan of unlimited food and drink or with a Flexi Semi-Inclusive Plan, with a buffet breakfast as the only meal as well as unlimited drinks and beverages. Each room contains one king bed or two double beds and accommodates a maximum of four guests. Ostras & Oysters - Overlooking the marina in front of the resort, this casually elegant restaurant serves Mediterranean-style ? la carte dinners. Reservations required. Nachos Snack Bar - Situated next to the beach, this place serves light fare such as burgers and nachos during the day and becomes an ? la carte Mexican restaurant at night. Reservations required. The resort also includes a pool bar with swim-up seating and a lobby bar. Alcoholic beverages are available until 1 AM and snack foods are available all night. | What to expect: This casual resort caters to families seeking Caribbean sun and fun at a moderate price. Amenity highlights: A good-sized main pool between the resort's main building and the long, white-sand beach bordering the turquoise sea provides freshwater swimming and is surrounded by a sundeck furnished with lounge chairs. The beach stretches the entire width of the resort and contains thatch-roof palapas for snoozing and reading in the shade. A 75-by-10-yard section of calm water created by an artificial reef offers toddlers the opportunity to splash safely in salt water. Built over the water in the resort's center is a two-level wood deck furnished with lounge chairs. A second pool and a children's pool are located across the street in the resort's timeshare section. Insider tip: Blue Bay Club Canc?n's sister resort, Blue Bay Getaway & Spa, is an adults-only resort located on Canc?n Island. As part of their package, all-inclusive guests of Blue Bay Club Canc?n are permitted to use the Blue Bay Getaway & Spa's facilities--including the health spa--and dine at its restaurants. Bus and water-taxi shuttles run between the resorts. Each takes 20 minutes. Children under 18 are not allowed at Blue Bay Getaway & Spa, which includes topless and nude sunbathing.
